Da mein Sohn schon immer mal eine echte Concorde sehen wollte, haben wir uns entschlossen eine Vater + Sohn Tour in die Technik Musen Sinsheim und Speyer zu unternehmen (hier der Bericht zum Hotel Sinsheim).
Zuerst haben wir das Technik Museum Sinsheim besucht, dies ist das einzige Museum das neben der Concorde der Air France auch den in der Sowjetunion entwickelten Überschalljet Tupolev TU-144 besitzt (das faktisch sogar vor der Concorde flog). Beide Flugzeuge können komplett von innen begangen werden und als Besucher erhält man einen richtig guten Eindruck.
Natürlich wurde zuerst die Concorde besichtigt, dafür muss auf das Dach des Technik Museums Sinsheim gestiegen werden, von dort hat man Zugang zu einer Vielzahl von Flugzeugen. Es gibt für die Concorde wie auch für die TU-144 eine max. Anzahl an Besuchern die gleichzeitig ins Flugzeug steigen dürfen. Bei unserem Besuch im Museum war allerdings nicht wirklich viel los, so das wir direkt ins Flugzeug gehen konnten.
Hier die Bilder der Concorde, leider waren gute Aufnahmen aus dem Cockpit nicht möglich da die Sonne direkt von vorne rein schien und die Plexiglaswand zusätzlich noch spiegelte.

Im Anschluss ging es dann rüber in die Tupolev TU-144, von außen wirken die beiden Flugzeuge ja noch sehr gleich, aber innen sieht man dann doch erhebliche Unterschiede (ist aber sehr interessant zu sehen:

Neben diesen beiden Flugzeuge gibt es natürlich noch eine weitere Vielzahl von Flugzeugen, Autos, Lokomotiven, Panzer und weiteren Fahrzeugen zu besichtigen. Wie auch das Museum in Speyer, verfügt das Technik Museum Sinsheim über ein IMAX Kino (in 3D).

Am nächsten Tag sind wir dann in das ca. 30min entfernte Technik Museum in Speyer gefahren. Dort steht unter anderem eine Lufthansa Boeing B-747-200, das größte Propellerflugzeug der Welt die Antonov 22 und das russisches Space Shuttle “Buran”.
Wirklich super gelungen ist der begehbare Flügel der B-747, so erhält der Besucher einmal richtig einen Eindruck über die Dimensionen dieses Flugzeuges.

Auch die Antonov 22 oder das Space Shuttle “Buran” sind sehr sehenswert und lohnen einen näheren Besuch. Auch gibt es hier wieder eine Vielzahl von Fahrzeugen, Flugzeugen, Schiffen und Lokomotiven zu besichtigen und wie auch in Sinsheim ein IMAX Kino.

Beide Musen sind wirklich sehenswert, interessant und kurzweilig. Wir hatten dort eine menge Spaß, etwas gestört hat mich allerdings die Tatsache das bei vielen Exponaten ein Automat für € 1 stand um eine Aktion auszuführen. Hier würde ich lieber einen etwas höheren Eintritt bezahlen, als das ich bei einer Vielzahl von Attraktionen noch einmal extra zur “Kasse” gebeten werde. Dennoch tut ist die Qualität der beiden Musen sehr hoch und ich kann einen Besuch nur empfehlen.
