Relativ spontan entschieden wir uns zu einem Kurztrip nach Grömitz mit Besuch des Zoos Arche Noah und der Ostsee Therme (Hier geht es zum Bericht des Strandhotels in Grömitz: https://www.insanire.de/strandhotel-groemitz/).
Grömitz ist eines der ältesten Ostseebäder am nördlichen Ende der Lübecker Bucht und verfügt über eine sehr schöne und lange Strandpromenade mit entsprechender Seebrücke.
Unser erstes Ziel war der Zoo Arche Noah, leider war der Samstag total Nebelig und entsprechend kühl war es. Der Zoo ist doch sehr überschaubar in der Größe und einen ganzen Tagesausflug würde ich hier nicht planen. Sehr nett ist die Möglichkeit mit dem Tierpfleger (in unserem Fall eine Pflegerin) für knapp eine Stunde ein kleine Führung zu unternehmen. So kommt man auch mal direkt in das Känguru Gehege rein (hierbei handelt es sich genauer um die Wallabys). Hier ein paar tierische Eindrücke:

Große Beliebtheit bei den Kindern und Pooh war das Ziegengehege 🙂
Am Nachmittag sind wir dann gemütlich entlang der Strandpromenade von Grömitz geschlendert, die Kinder haben dabei am Strand getobt und wir haben es und zeitweilig gemütlich in der Strandhalle gemacht. Zum Glück klarte es am Nachmittag doch etwas auf und wir konnten den schönen Blick auf die Ostsee genießen. Am Abend gab es dann noch ein großes Lagerfeuer direkt am Strand, was natürlich den Kindern sehr gut gefallen hat.

Am Sonntag sind wir dann von Grömitz nach Scharbeutz in die Ostsee Therme gefahren (ca. 20min mit dem Auto), hier hatte ich allerdings den Fotoapparat nicht mit reingenommen (sorry). Grundsätzlich kann die Ostsee Therme zu den verlangten Preis nicht überzeugen, wir haben allerdings den Sauna und SPA Bereich nicht besucht, so das ein abschließendes Urteil noch nicht abgegeben werden kann. Gleich neben der Ostsee Therme, mit direkten Zugang, liegt ja das 5-Sterne Grand Belveder Hotel. Vielleicht lässt sich hier ja mal eine Kurzreise realisieren :-).
Spät Nachmittags sind wir dann wieder Richtung Heimat gefahren, Eltern und Kinder waren zufrieden mit dem Wochenende :-).
