Review – Novotel Freiburg

Wie ja schon im Bericht zuvor geschrieben, war ich aus beruflichen Gründen am letzten Wochenende in Freiburg (im Breisgau). Mit dem Mietwagen ging es vom Flughafen Zürich in gut 1.5h nach Freiburg, am Freitag bei herrlichem Wetter (und ca. 22 Grad). Für die eine Nacht wählte ich das Novotel Freiburg, da direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof und am Kongress-Zentrum/Konzerthaus (daher heißt das Hotel auf Novotel Freiburg am Konzerthaus). Parken kann man direkt in der Tiefgarage für ca. € 12 am Tag/Nacht. Das Hotel vier Sterne Hotel ist selber schlicht und ein klassisches Geschäftshotel. Die Zimmer sind ausdruckslos und nüchtern, aber funktional und sauber. Schlafen konnte ich aufgrund der außen Lautstärke leider nicht so gut, und ich empfand das Zimmer grundsätzlich als sehr hellhörig (ist mir schon beim Novotel in Berlin Tiergarten aufgefallen). Da ich weder Frühstück noch Pool genutzt habe, kann ich hierzu nichts schreiben. Das Personal war soweit freundlich, allerdings war der Service am Nachmittag in der Lobby nicht existent. Zweimal mussten wir eine Servicekraft für unsere Kaffee-Wünsche suchen (gleiches galt auch für das bezahlen) und fanden erst einen Mitarbeiter auf der anderen Hotelseite. Der Preis für die Übernachtung war aber fair und in Ordnung.
