Die Himmelfahrtswoche wollten wir diesmal für eine kurze einwöchige Reise in die Sonne nutzen. Primärer Fokus war diesmal Sonne, Strand und ein wenig Erholung, so das die Auswahl auf die Türkei viel. Der Vorort Lara bei Antalya entwickelt sich ja in den letzten Jahren zu einer Touristen Hochburg (und beides ist es auch, dazu aber in einem anderen Beitrag mehr). Nach ein wenig Recherche entschieden wir uns für das Limak Lara de Luxe Hotel, mit über 96% Empfehlungsrate auf Holidaycheck.de und 4,5 Punkten bei tripadvisor. Ich bin stark am überlegen, aber ich kann mich nicht entsinnen, so extrem von einem Hotel enttäuscht worden zu sein.
Das Hotel mag ja vieles sein, aber “de Luxe” ist es nirgendswo. Sicherlich sind fünf Sterne nicht immer und überall gleich fünf Sterne, allerdings erwartete ich aufgrund der Bewertungen und eigenen Hotel Darstellung schon erheblich mehr. Zusammengefasst ist das Hotel:
dreckig, laut und so gemütlich wie ein Einkaufszentrum.

Wir waren ja nun schon viel unterwegs, aber das habe ich schon lange (und vor allem in keinem 5 Sterne de Luxe Hotel) erlebt. Da wir mit fünf Personen gereist sind, hatten wir zwei Zimmer. Ein Familienzimmer (sehr praktisch mit Steintreppen 
nach oben zu gehen…mal gut das wir keine Buggys mehr brauchen 😉 ) und ein Standard Zimmer. Beide waren nicht wirklich sauber, aber unser Familienzimmer war schon die Härte (denke die Bilder sagen alles). Auf den Weg zum Zimmer gelangt man über versiffte Teppichböden (das sind alles unterschiedliche Flecken und Bilder), und im Zimmer finden sich Löcher, Schimmel, Rost und Haare von den Vorgängern! Das Bett empfand ich als deutlich zu hart, aber dies kann ich als “Geschmackssache” durchgehen lassen.

Da ich im Pool tauchen war (sollte man vielleicht lieber nicht tun), kann ich auch berichten was dort alles im Wasser lag. Grundsätzlich ist das ein Design Problem des Limak Lara Hotels, da die Terrassen ja über den Pool gebaut sind. Was sehr nett aussieht ist aber hygienisch ein Problem: Bestecke, Servierten und Essensreste liegen auf dem Boden das Pools.
Fairerweise muss ich aber zugeben, das die Toiletten am Pool und Strand sauber waren!
Laut:
Es ist halt ein Massentourist-Hotel und entsprechend viele Gäste sind vorhanden. Durch die “offene” Konstruktion der Eingangshalle, Restaurants und Bars ist es überall extrem laut. Hinzu kommt das im Hauptrestaurant teilweise die Musik so laut aufgedreht wird, das man sich ja fast anschreien muss um sich zu verständigen. Ich habe auch noch nie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel Geschirr-Abräumwagen gesehen. Diese werden von dem Personal bis oben hin voll gestapelt und dann in einer Geschwindigkeit und Lautstärke durch den Saal geschoben, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe. Der Gast ist hierbei auch noch im Wege und wird vom Personal teilweise nicht nur geschnitten, sondern auch mal angerempelt (sicherlich aus versehen, ist mir aber zweimal passiert!).
Grundsätzlich sind alle Kellner sicherlich bemüht, aber alle waren auffällig hektisch. Kaffee kann sich der Gast im Limak Lara bitte selbst am Automaten abholen (schwarz oder weiß), persönliche “de Luxe” Betreuung sieht anders aus.

Gemütlich?
Wie oben schon beschrieben, ist das Limak Lara de Luxe durch seine Bauweise einfach nur groß und hat mich eher an ein Einkaufszentrum erinnert. Alle Sitzbereiche innerhalb des Hotels empfand ich als ungemütlich und kalt.

Das Tea-House ist ganz nett und die Bar mit dem Innenhof war in Ordnung (hier gab es auch den besten Kaffee und Service). Pool und Strandbereich waren zweckmäßig und auch OK.
Wenn dem nicht schon genug wäre kamen noch ein paar weitere Punkte hinzu:
Das Essen (gebe ich zu ist Geschmackssache) war größtenteils in Ordnung, ich konnte immer etwas für mich finden (Pooh hatte es hier schon etwas schwieriger). Aber Qualität und Auswahl habe ich in gleicher Hotelkategorie und Pauschalreisebereich (z.B. Tunesien und Ägypten) schon viel besser als im Limak Lara erlebt. Vor allem das lange Anstehen an den Buffets empfand ich als unangenehm, dabei war ja noch keine Hauptsaison. Das Dessertbuffet sieht optisch sehr lecker aus, aber teilweise war der Inhalt überall gleich (nur farblich halt anders).

Wir haben an einem Abend a la Karte im italenischen Restaurant gegessen und waren sehr enttäuscht (sowohl Essens- als auch Servicequalität). Aufpreis hier € 9 pro Person, da wir direkt über die offizielle Webseite von Limak Lara gebucht hatten (http://www.limak-lara.de) sollten wir allerdings einen Besuch frei haben:
Vor Ort wurde uns erklärt, das dies ein Fehler sei und nicht stimmt (in Deutschland nennt man so was “unerlaubter Wettbewerb”). Nach Diskussion mit Ali vom Gästeservice und Rücksprache mit der Direktion (!) wurde uns der eine Besuch dann aber doch genehmigt. Aber was soll ich sagen, zum Schluss stand der Betrag doch wieder auf der Zimmerrechnung (nochmal mit Ali diskutiert und es wurde gestrichen). Der Obstteller war natürlich auch nicht auf dem Zimmer. Es geht mir auch nicht um den Betrag oder einen tollen Obstteller, es spiegelt aber einfach nur die Servicequalität und den Grundsatzes des Hotels sehr gut wieder.
Die Cocktailkarte war ein Witz, irgendwelche Sachen einfach zusammengemischt. Am Pool und Strand grundsätzlich im Pappbecher serviert (hmm…lecker), obwohl es Plastikbecher und Gläser gibt (diese habe ich aber immer nur Abends bekommen). Einzig der Mojito und das Bier (obwohl schon leicht wässrig) waren annehmbar.
Positiv (wollen wir ja nicht verheimlichen) empfand ich das überall verteilt (sogar auf dem Steg am Strand) Kühlschränke mit Wasserflaschen zur freien Verfügung standen. Auch die abendlichen Shows waren größtenteils (bis auf eine Ausnahme) ganz in Ordnung.
Das Familienzimmer im Limak Lara war von der Größe her in Ordnung, aber Bett und sanitäre Einrichtung entsprechen keine 5 Sterne. Das Standardzimmer empfand ich da schon viel gemütlicher. Da das Schlafzimmer im Familienzimmer zur Straße nach hinten liegt, war es Nachts durch den Verkehr auch recht laut (Isolierung ist kaum vorhanden):

Zusammengefasst: Leider ist das Hotel einfach sein Geld nicht wert und de Luxe ist hier wirklich gar nichts. Man merkt sehr stark das hier einfach nur auf Masse geschaut wird, Qualität und Personalisierung sind dabei nicht vorhanden.
