Rallye Dresden-Dakar-Banju – Diesel & Dust

In March 2026, we will take on the Dresden–Dakar–Banjul Challenge — an overland journey of roughly 7,200 km from Germany to The Gambia. The first days are all about covering distance to reach the ferry at Algeciras and cross to Tanger Med, Morocco. From there, the adventure truly begins: Morocco’s regions, the long southbound stretch, and the experience of traveling during Ramadan.

Then comes the turning point: the border into Mauritania and the start of the rally’s most demanding section — including the Sahara convoy stages and remote desert logistics. After that, we continue through Senegal into Sub‑Saharan Africa and finally reach The Gambia, where the vehicles are auctioned for a good cause.

We’ll share our preparation, our route, and stages of the journey — the wins, the setbacks, the “Diesel & Dust” moments, and everything in between. If you want to follow along closely, join us here on the blog, on Instagram ( @team.insanire), and on FindPenguins for live route updates and daily highlights.

Welcome to our rally diary — and thanks for riding along with us.
