Back to New Zealand After 25 Years
At the end of June (2025), our journey took us quite literally to the other side of the world: After more than 25 years, we had the chance to visit New Zealand once again. Our son spent the past twelve months attending high school there – an experience we simply couldn’t miss. So we traveled to Wellington to pick him up in person.
Naturally, we turned the occasion into a road trip across both the North and South Islands – a journey filled with stunning landscapes, warm encounters, and unforgettable moments.
This time, we didn’t write our daily travel reports while we were on the road—but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any! We’re now going through our notes and sorting all the photos, and we’ll be uploading the entries gradually as
we find time.
