Day 3 – 24-02-2025

On the third day of our journey, we started at 8 AM, as we were behind schedule. Our first stop was supposed to be a ghost hunt, but things turned out differently. On the way, the wheel bolts loosened, and one broke when tightening. At the garage , we had to wait an hour as they were on lunch break, which we used to have lunch ourselves – meatballs with mashed potatoes.

A friendly mechanic then checked and tightened all the wheels, so we got the green light to continue. Even with another extra delay of 1.5 hours, we still decided to go to Borgvattnet to complete the day’s challenge and collect points. In this supposedly haunted place, we managed the challenge and set off right at sunset for Vilhelmina, where we are to meet the other teams. After 12 hours of driving 765 kilometers we arrived at 8:17 PM and were still able to get food at the buffet and chat some with the other teams. Tomorrow, ice drifting is on the agenda.
