Day 2 – 23-02-2025

On the second day of our rally, we drove from Kristianstad to Laxtjärn. At breakfast, we happened to meet teams 29 and 99, who had stayed at the same hotel as us – we never feel alone 😊

Six casually dressed people indoors holding bowls with framed portraits and a white column behind.

During a fuel stop, we met a friendly local Swedish woman who was willing to take a photo with us on our hood while drinking coffee. For this, we received valuable challenge points.

Our route then led us to a car cemetery, where we admired, among other things, an ABBA bus and many other wrecks. At lunchtime, we went to a café in Växjö to eat and plan the further tour.

At a parking lot, we then switched to studded tires, which turned out to be time-consuming as two tires had problems. This delayed us longer than originally planned. Therefore, we could not reach our actual destination Mora, as exhaustion set in after 13 hours of driving.

Fortunately, we spontaneously found a cozy bed & breakfast where we spent the night. On this day, we covered a total of 609 kilometers.
